Xiamen University set up innovation fund

Xiamen University Alumni "Tack Ching social class fund" has been established for six years. Recently, the reporter learned that, at this year's 95th Anniversary, there are many donors requested fund to be used in innovation and competition. 

April 7th 2016, 2015 annual undergraduate awards ceremony for innovation and competition was held. 51 outstanding undergraduate academic competition projects, 11 excellent papers, 30 outstanding instructors, five advanced collectives and 10 advanced individuals were honored. 

According to reports, last year, undergraduate innovation credits have been compulsory for each undergraduate students, students should obtain at least two credits at school and participate in at least one project and a school competition. Meanwhile, university has significantly increased the proportion of practice teaching, practical teaching credits, the average teaching professional practice from the 2005 edition of the 17 credits to the 2009 version of 19 credits, to the current 43 credits.
